Adrian’s Classical Guitar Studio
As a teacher I have over twenty years of experience, guiding students of all levels and ages through the principles of guitar playing.
Many of my students are successfully playing and creating their own music, while others have discovered a fun and rewarding hobby through the study of classical guitar.
The discipline of classical guitar study can help you in any other musical style, I also teach Flamenco guitar, beginner Jazz, Folk, Rock and Latin styles. I also teach theory and history lessons, according to the current syllabus of the Royal Conservatory of Music.
Lessons are available from my home studio in the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood in Vancouver, BC. I am conveniently located off Broadway (between Fraser and Clark), with free street parking, and ample room for parents to sit in during lessons.
Lessons are to be paid monthly by the student by cheque, cash, or Interac e-transfer. Lessons cancelled by the student will be credited to the following month if minimum 24 hours notice is given. Makeup lessons can be negotiated with the teacher.
Please feel free to contact me if you would like to book a first lesson or have any other questions.
Post Secondary Studies
I am a Classical Guitar instructor at Vancouver Community College School of Music. Diploma students studying Classical Guitar as their major instrument receive 1 hour of individual guitar instruction weekly and participation in master class. Students are required to prepare for jury examinations, and solo performances. My curriculum includes musicianship training, technical/musical development and professional training.
Minor study is also available for Music Diploma students for 30 minutes weekly, and master class instruction.
